Hi Yolandi
Thank you for your email.
I wanted to drop you a message to say thank you for everything you did for me and my three babies.
You went out of your way to make this as smooth as possible when it’s quite a stressful process and I know I’ve been working on this for over a year so thank you for your patience in that I finally got to a place where I was ready to have them come over. Moving to a new country is such a process and I am so happy that you made probably my biggest concern in moving work out so easily.
I’ve attached some photos. I am amazed at how quickly they’ve adapted. I had purrs on the first night and since then I’ve had Toulouse rolling on the floor which is his happy sign and Bonnie chewing her tail which is her happy sign. Mimi was first out the crate to explore. She hasn’t yet found food to her liking. The IAMS biscuits are similar but the wet food just isn’t quite to her taste. We have hedgehogs in our neighbourhood and they recommend feeding them left over cat food, so the hedgehogs in my garden are getting very fat! It could be Mimis ploy to fatten them up, I’m not sure but I’ll keep up the hunt for food to her liking.
Thank you again, I know that you could just simply do your job but you went the extra way to make sure you did it with such patience and kindness and I do appreciate that. There’s something to be said for a process which is completely familiar to you and easy to navigate but which is very foreign to me and you’ve given me such great guidance through this.
I’ll post on the Global Paws as a review, and also on the Facebook group “South Africans emigrating with pets”. You may know of it, but it’s a good one to watch because it gives an idea of the general customer view and people can give feedback there which isn’t completely accurate/is hearsay. The group admins are very strict on experience only reviews but people sometimes post the odd comment which they then delete.
Once again, thank you for everything you have done! Photos attached and please feel free to share their story (photo all together is they the day before they left SA and the rest are in the UK as happy as can be!)
Ashleigh
